Catskill Chill announced the 2015 lineup and it looks awesome. They released all the acts playing this year except for the headliner which will be announced June 8th. With Lotus, Zappa Plays Zappa, Lettuce and more already on the bill they don’t need much more convincing to ensure a great time. This year is the 6th year for the festival and a farewell year to the festival grounds of Camp Minglewood. Here is what festival founder, Dave Marzollo, had to say about the farewell event:
“It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce that 2015 will mark the final year of the Catskill Chill’s glorious run at Camp Minglewood. We would keep our event at it’s original home forever if we could, but we have been informed that, for reasons beyond our control, we will no longer be able to host our family at the place we’ve come to love. The bright side is that we have one final chance to enjoy those rolling slopes of our intimate campus for one last mighty celebration -‐ The Sixth Annual Catskill Chill Music Festival: A Farewell to Minglewood! Whether you have been to every Chill, or you have always wanted to go but never made it, this will be an epic Chill chapter that you will not want to miss”
They have already been looking into new venues for the festival and it will continue but this is your last chance to get a piece of Camp Minglewood and an amazing weekend of Catskill Chill music. Be on the lookout for the final headliner addition on June 8th!
