This week the premier Grateful Dead tribute group, Dark Star Orchestra, are taking over the state of Colorado with a 4-show run.
Starting on July 3rd DSO will be at the beautiful Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, followed by a special 4th of July show at the Ogden Theatre in Denver (Which we will be covering). After that the band will make their way to the breathtaking views of State Bridge Amphitheatre in Bond. Last year I was fortunate enough to catch one of their shows at State Bridge and I was blown away by the mixture of chemistry on and off the stage with the unmatchable environment of State Bridge.
Finally the run will come to an end at Dillon Amphitheatre in Dillon. The amphitheater lies along the banks of Lake Dillon. If you haven’t had the chance to see Dillon Amphitheatre it is a magnificent sight. Behind the stage is a picture-perfect view of the Rocky Mountains.
