Lupe Fiasco is a little crazy, if you didn’t know. I can’t chronicle his career for you accurately, but it’s the classic tragedy of a dope-ass rapper who is forced to dumb-it-down to fulfill a major-label record contract. Despite Lasers, Lupe released 3 pretty damn-good albums as a rapper, and a few mixtapes as well.
Now he is going space-age dance music on us, which, as a fan of “Kick, Push,” I was definitely skeptical about. However, even with his best Will.I.Am impression, Lupe has successfully adapted auto-tune and futuristic beats for his new project, SNDCLSH… at least for this song, anyways.
