Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival will take over Williamsburg for a special weekend of forward-thinking electronic music come November. Artists like Booka Shade, Gaslamp Killer, Eats Everything, Bit Funk, Todd Edwards and Huxley are glaring me in the face, but a carefully curated line up like this demands attention to lesser-known artists and ones you’ve never heard of all together.
Another careful step this festival takes comes in form of venues. This isn’t some random warehouse, or an barren field; these are Brooklyn’s premier venues playing host to a tastemaker’s lineup of electronic music.
