Catskill Chill is gearing up to spend their first year in Lakewood, Pennsylvania, and their celebrating in a terrific fashion. The festival has recently added Lettuce to the lineup, including a very special ‘Bitches Bloom’ tribute to Miles Davis. The name plays on Bitches Brew, Davis’ classic jazz fusion opus, and Eric Benny Bloom, Lettuce’s trumpet player.
Reed Mathis and Electric Beethoven are also joining the Catskill Chill roster, with members of Primus, Ratdog, RAQ, Tea Leaf Green, and more joining the bassist in a performance of classical dance music. Funky Dawgz Brass Band round out the additions.
This is all in addition to an already-stacked list of artists that include Phish’s Mike Gordon, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Break Science’s Live Band, Dopapod, Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass, Greensky Bluegrass, and many more.
