Mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile just wrapped up a monstrous 25th anniversary tour with Nickel Creek, but slowing down now clearly isn’t an option. Instead the 33 year old musician is joining forces with bassist Edgar Meyer to bridge the gap between classical music and bluegrass.
Their new album, aptly titled Bass & Mandolin, is out now and the duo have a lengthy tour to celebrate, including a stop at New York City’s Town Hall on October 11th.
