Dead & Company have announced their 2019 Summer Tour dates. The group – which features founding Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart joined by John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti – played their best tour yet in Summer 2018, and the 19-dates penned for next summer are sure to be a series of incredible evenings with the music of the Grateful Dead.
The 2019 tour starts off with a series of two night runs at Shoreline Amphitheatre outside of San Francisco, LA’s Hollywood Bowl, and the scenic Gorge Amphitheatre. From there, the band moves through Deer Creek, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, SPAC, Camden’s BB&T Pavilion, the New England Patriot’s massive Gillette Stadium and onto NYC’s Citi Field. Moving briefly through the south, Dead & Company makes its way to Boulder, Colorado where they will end the tour with two nights just as they did last summer.
We can’t wait to see what the group has in store for 2019 after 2018’s killer tour. They busted out new songs, delivered incredible improvisational jams, and that Grateful Dead energy that is still pungent around the country whenever Dead & Company or another GD band comes to town.
Tickets will initially be done via Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Presale. Fan Registration is available HERE for all 2019 tour dates beginning today, Thursday, November 29. However, the program does not include the July 5-6 concerts at Folsom Field.
