Ghost Light – the growing project featuring Holly Bowling, Tom Hamilton, Steve Lyons, Raina Mullen and Scotty Zwang – has just announced a late-night, post-Phish show on 12/30. Taking place at the newly-opened Sony Hall in Times Square, the nearby after-show will go super late for anyone who is celebrating the New Year a day early.
The 1000-person venue looks gorgeous, and while we’ve never had the chance of covering a show there, we look forward to seeing Bowling, Hamilton, and the rest of Ghost Light shred the sound-system to smithereens following a big night of Phishing. That penultimate 12/30 date just so happens to be a legendary night for Phish as it is, and last year’s day-before-NYE show was regarded as one of the best shows in 3.0 history.
