HARD NYC Preview: Zeds Dead, RJD2, Paper Diamond and mo’!

The masterminds behind some of the HARDest electronic music festivals around (and some of the best artist announcement videos too, seriously go look at their new Day of the Dead video, it’s DOPE) teamed up with NYC’s Bowery Presents to beef up the NYC stop of Zeds Dead’s Altered States tour and dub it HARD NYC.

Fresh off a summer of crushing what seemed like every festival known to man, Toronto’s dub step juggernauts, Zeds Dead, are in the middle of a 35 date excursion and primed to blow the roof off the Big Apple.

Friday night Terminal 5 also plays host to turn table destroyer RJD2, be on the look for him dropping tracks from his upcoming 5th LP More Is Than Isn’t .

Also on the decks is fellow Altered States tour mate, Colorado’s versatile producer/hemp ambassador Paper Diamond. Thanks to social media we know Alex B’s making new tunes, he posted this update on his Facebook page a week ago, “Awwww shit this new song I’m finishing up is SO DOPE!! Seriously excited to get all this new heat to you!!” and I hope Paper Diamond uses the opportunity to test fire the new beat on a wily New York crowd.

Filling out the bill are the trap stylings of DJs/producers Green Lantern and Branchez, both from New York, both dirty beat makers.

With no more Rock The Bells this weekend expect this one to be a packed house. On a scale of 1 to turnt, HARD NYC’s about to be off the charts, cop a ticket now to get your bass fix!
