Dubstep pioneer Mala will return back to New York City on September 21st for a very special rendition of Deep Space, Manhattan’s premier weekly event for deep dub and experimental dance music. The Funktion-One sound-system at Cielo will get a taste of dubby riddims courtesy of the Digital Mystikz member.
Last time Mala was in town was for the Hyperdub 10 year party at Verboten, which was nothing short of spectacular. If his set is anything like it was last time, you can expect reggae, future dub, OG dubstep, and much more, all on wax.
