Nicolas Jaar has been under the radar for pretty much the entirety of 2016, just recently breaking his silence with some social media teasing and a radio show. He’ll continue to reactivate his solo career with a lengthy tour of North America and Europe this fall. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
This tour announcement follows the teasing of Sirens, which is rumored to be his forthcoming LP. The artwork he posted on social media recently, which is below, has “sirens” written in the same font that “Nicolas Jaar” is written in on this tour poster, which also includes “sirens” in the icon that also boasts the names of Nymphs, his EP series, and Pomegranates, his recent avant-garde soundtrack offering.
We look forward to hearing and seeing more from the elusive Chilean producer over the course of the next few months. Hopefully some new music will see the light of day as well.
