What happens when Ellie Goulding covers Alt-J?  Musical karma sutra.  In her usual, breathy fashion, she nails the esoteric “Tessellate” and transforms it into something completely different with the help of producer Xaphoon Jones (there’s even a jazzy interlude featuring Bill Clinton’s favorite instrument: the sax!)  Even better, it’s a rare opportunity to decipher the lyrics of otherwise mumbly (but cool) singing style of British band Alt-J.
