Purple Hatters is one of those festivals where you feel like the entire festival crowd is your family. It’s a tightly woven event that spreads joy like no other. If you don’t know the history behind the festival, just know it’s held in memory of a wonderful girl named Rachel Morningstar. I’ve never had the chance to meet her but know many people who have and they say nothing but absolutely positive things about her. With that kind of energy surrounding your event, it is bound to feel special.
The event has been growing it’s lineup exponentially every year. This year is no different. Acts such as Beats Antique, Emancipator Ensemble (full band), The New Mastersounds, The Nth Power, and many more will be gracing the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park for the festival. I could go on for days about how special this event is but instead here are 3 photos that capture the festival and the time that you are in for. If those aren’t enough check the full photo album from 2013.
