Lockn’ Announces 2017 Daily Lineup, Adds to Lineup

Lockn’ Festival has been the premier festival for big-name jam and Grateful Dead-related bands since it started out 4 years ago, and they’re back once again with an extraordinary lineup. After a year off, String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic are back in headlining positions along with Lockn’ alumni and new bands alike.

Perhaps the most exciting bit of this lineup is seeing Bob Weir and Phil Lesh together again, at a big festival with Terrapin Station dictating the direction of the setlist. Phil will play a separate set with the Terrapin Family Band, and another with moe. on Sunday. Making their Lockn’ debuts, we have the aforementioned moe., The Disco Biscuits, Greensky Bluegrass, and Sinkane. Returning for more fun on the farm is Gov’t Mule, Avett Brothers, John Fogerty, Umphrey’s Mcgee, The Revivalists, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Marcus King Band, Eric Krasno Band, and more.

Thursday sees String Cheese and Umphrey’s switching off sets with The Disco Biscuits headlining. Sounds like a party.

Friday has the Phil/Bob collab along with a couple Gov’t Mule sets, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Brandi Carlile, and a really strong early program with TAUK, Antibalas, Sinkane, and Marcus King Band. JRAD shreds late.

Saturday boasts Widespread Panic and John Fogerty, who collaborated at the first Lockn’ Festival, as well as Keller Williams, Greensky Bluegrass, and John Butler Trio. JRAD shreds late again.

Sunday switches things up from previous years, offering Avett Brothers, moe., and Phil Lesh w/ moe. for something special.

Tickets for the festival are available at the Lockn’ website.
