Lockn’ Festival continues to roll out the information surrounding their 2016 festival, and just the other day took to Facebook to announce their daily schedule. As you can see, Phish headlines both Friday and Sunday night, with a very curious omission of a set on Saturday. Maybe they’re gearing up for something secret like they’ve been known to do at their own phestivals?
Ween and My Morning Jacket handle headlining duties on Thursday and Saturday, respectively, with fantastic support coming all fest long in the presence of Vulfpeck, Umphrey’s McGee, Charles Bradley, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and more. Perhaps most special are the late night sets, which are looking epic this year. On Thursday you have Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and EOTO, Friday sees JRAD night 2 and Neal Casal’s Circles Around The Sun project (their live debut!), and Saturday has Lettuce and the phenomenal rising act Khruangbin. Add some Grateful Grass and Grateful Gospel from the great Reverend Keller Williams and you have yourself quite the festival!
