One of my absolute favorite acts, Thievery Corporation, has a new album coming out April 1st called Saudade. They have also posted a new song from the album, titled “Depth of My Soul” (feat. Shana Halligan). For some reason, I feel like the song sounds like a James Bond-type theme…no idea why. It’s definitely a little different than the Thievery I’m used to listening to, it’s a little more laid-back, loungey and is reminiscent of vocal jazz. But hey, draw your own comparisons.
