Wanee Music Festival has announced their 2016 lineup. Headlining the event is Widespread Panic, returning to the Suwannee Music Park for two more big sets on Friday and Saturday night. Umphrey’s McGee will also play both Firday and Saturday night, making for what will definitely be an epic 1-2 punch from two of jam’s most prominent acts. Gregg Allman, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, and Les Brers (a Butch Trucks-fronted band) will fill the void left by the absence of the Allman Brothers Band.
Soulive, The Wood Brothers, Conspirator, Hot Tuna w/ Steve Kimock, Gov’t Mule, and Billy & the Kids round out a really spectacular lineup from the Wanee camp. We’ve been lucky enough to cover the festival four years in a row now, and hopefully will make #5 in 2016!
