3 reasons 2013 is starting off with a BANG!

1. Aura Music & Arts Festival – When the folks at AURA Music Group announced that they would be taking their fourth annual festival to the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park, we were ecstatic. Following that big news, they casted Papadosio, Perpetual Groove, The Heavy Pets and Conspirator as headliners, all of which are playing two sets. To top it all off, Kung Fu is doing a Stevie Wonder tribute set. BAM!

2. Envision Festival – If you were ever on the fence about visiting Costa Rica, please let me barrel toss you over. This transformational festival is on the rise, and in its third year they are bringing the best lineup to accompany its serene environment. Yoga, art, tours and performance will effortlessly mix in the paradise of Costa Rica, only to be topped off with sets by EOTO, Emancipator, The Polish Ambassador, Midnite, Phutureprimitive and the once-in-a-lifetime Envision Orchestra. Hop off the fence, it is time to pull the trigger on the trip of a lifetime.

3. BUKU Music + Art Project – Electronic festivals can be overbearing, and the organizers at BUKU clearly understand that. So in addition to EDM heavy-hitters like Flosstradamus, Nero, Calvin Harris, Datsik and Major Lazer, the lineup included Primus 3D, STS9, Passion Pit. And since we’re in Nawlins, we can’t forget the urban flare, right? So Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi and Earl Sweatshirt handle the hip-hop flavor for the festival. We can’t wait for BUKU!
