When he isn’t busy sippin’ lean, ASAP Rocky is working on his debut album LONG.LIVE.A$AP. Or maybe he does both at the same damn time, I don’t know. Either way, A$AP Rocky has a new album coming out on January 15th. While his latest release was a collaboration mixtape with his crew, A$AP Mob, Rocky saved his album’s material for more unique collaborations. “Like I’m Apart” features Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine. “1Train” features the who’s who of modern-day hip-hop, Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson & Big K.R.I.T. The “Pretty Flacko” remix sees Waka Flaka and Gucci taking turns over the hyphy beat, with a less obvious Pharrell adding some flare.
Perhaps the most unique collaboration is with Skrillex on “Wild for the Night,” which I’m guessing relates to the remix of Birdy Nam Nam’s “Goin’ In.”
