There's one of two ways you can look at the Beale Street Music Festival. On one hand, it is jam-packed with corporate sponsors like Bud Light and Fedex. On the other hand, it contains an awesomely diverse and unique lineup that can rival just abou any other festival, depending on your preference.
Friday: Bassnectar and Alice in Chains? I don't know about you, but I could stop reading right there and I'm lovin' it like a Big Mac. Mim0sa, Edward Sharpe and Sheryl Crow (I heard she's absolutely incredible live) add to the fun.
Saturday: Black Keys, The Roots, Gov't Mule, Big Boi and Porter Robinson? Diversity at its best.
Sunday: Smashing Pumpkins? Flaming Lips? Phoenix? Jesus this is starting to sound like a little mini Bonnaroo. If you can overlook the whackness of some of these bookings (Papa Roach, Three Days Grace), this festival is looking awesome!
