Electric Forest has announced their 2016 lineup, including the likes of String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, Major Lazer, Beats Antique, Bonobo, Flosstradamus, Gorgon City (Live), Greensky Bluegrass, GRiZ, Porter Robinson (Live), STS9, The Disco Biscuits, and more occupying the top tier of slots.
The undercard features a variety of artists from the worlds of (mostly) electronic music, hip hop, jam, etc. Some of the names we’re more excited to see include Caspa b2b Rusko (although maybe they’re a few years late on doing that), Dusky, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kamasi Washington, Neon Indian, Navid Izadi, Papadosio, Soul Clap, The New Mastersounds, Polish Ambassador, and The Nth Power.
DubEra has been to Electric Forest for the past four years, bringing tons of great interviews, videos, photos, and articles from the Madison House / Insomniac collaborative event. It’s always an interesting time up on Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan (to say the least), and it’s been incredible watching the festival grow over the years. The festival is sold out ahead of this lineup release, but if you’re eager to make it, you’ll find tickets on sale via Facebook groups and event pages as the festival approaches.
