The folks at Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival sort of surprisingly dropped the lineup last night around midnight. They sure are bringing the heat back to the Suwannee for what is annually a freezing cold festival (as far as weather goes… the vibes are warm as apple pie).
I’m stoked to see ?uestlove will be bringing the Roots to Bear Creek! We heard rumors of that, but the fact that it’s true gets me really excited for November to come already. Bootsy Collins & The Funk Unity Band is suppose to be gnarly too, so I can’t wait to see what they bring to the woods.
The rest of the lineup reads as you may have predicted, but that isn’t a bad thing by any means!
Not one, but two sets from Lettuce, Karl Denson, Zach Deputy, The New Mastersounds, Toubab Krewe, Kung Fu, The Malah and more…. You know it’s tight when most of the bands you want to see on the lineup are playing two sets!
Break Science, Antibalas, George Porter Jr.’s Runnin’ Pardners, The Werks and our homies in Sounduo round out the lineup.
